How long does a Gold Coast home renovation take?
It depends on the scope. A bathroom renovation typically takes 3–4 weeks. A kitchen renovation runs 4–8 weeks. A full home renovation or extension can be 3–6 months. Ben will give you a realistic timeline at your initial consultation — we don't pad estimates to impress you.
Do I need council approval for a renovation or extension?
Not always. Minor internal renovations generally don't require development approval, but most structural extensions and additions do. Our certifier can organise the approvals for you, and Ben can advise exactly what's needed for your specific project.
Can I stay in my home during the renovation?
Yes — for most renovations, absolutely. We're experienced working in occupied homes and take care to keep disruption to a minimum. For full home renovations, we'll map out a staged plan so you always have a functional kitchen or bathroom available.
What happens after I get in touch?
Ben will reply personally, usually within one business day. If it sounds like a good fit, he'll come out to see the project, talk through your ideas and give you honest advice on scope, timing and budget. Then you'll get a written quote you can actually understand.
How do you handle the budget and avoid blowouts?
Transparently. We give you a detailed quote upfront, flag any variables that could affect cost before we start, and communicate clearly if anything changes on site. If something unexpected turns up once walls are open, you'll hear it from Ben first, before any extra cost.
